In 1633, crumbling under the pressure of the dominant power, the Christian church, Galileo renounced his theory that the earth revolves around the sun.
With this series, I question the ways in which we use the world and I take into consideration that naturals resources and life in general are disappearing, humans disappearing too, they are blurred and out of focus; human beings are endangered.
The photographs in this project are fragmented, much like our minds are fragmented. The observer can pick out through the images and frames provided in order to build his own meaning. He needs to explore his memories and sensations to create something from what lies before him. I don’t provide the script.
He abjured. To abjure is to shun one’s beliefs in order to submit to the ideals maintained by authority.
